 **  To qualify for reduced admission entry as a Pensioner, one of the following criteria must be met:

  ^  Holders of a valid Australian Government issued Pension Concession Card*  including listed dependants will qualify for the pension rate.

  ^  Holders of a valid Australian Government issued Veteran Affairs Pension Card*

Rain Forces Brisbane Speedway Cancellation

Continuing rain in and around Brisbane overnight has forced the cancellation of tonight's 8th Round of the Qld Speedway Spares Series at Titan Garages Brisbane International Speedway (BIS).

The Archerfield raceway has been inspected this morning by BIS Promoter John Kelly and unfortunately the amount of rain that has fallen in the area during the past twelve hours has left the track and grounds unsuitable for racing.

A date for the rescheduling of these races is yet to be confirmed, with an announcement to be made regarding the rain out date in coming days. The BIS Promotional team thank competitors and patrons for their understanding with the decision to cancel tonight's races.

The next event at the Speedway will be Saturday March 13 featuring Super Sedans, AMCA Nationals and Limited Sprints plus Track Championship races for Sigmas, Outlaw Sedans and Open Sedans.
